Sale Horses in IL area?

I’m looking for a cheap (under $1000 or free), preferably off the track thoroughbred, but will consider other breeds. I need to horse to be sound enough where i can teach him to jump but the training the horse has doesn’t matter, as long as he’s broke to ride. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know! I need some options before the end of August.

I live about 3 hours southwest of St. Louis. If you can make it here I have some fox trotters. Not as tall as you are looking for but I do have a gelding. The nice thing is that if anyone wants to get into jumping fox trotters the world show is near here in Ava and the event is fairly open as few people here ride English. You could actually take a world championship. And the fox trotter can jump well enough that a team went to Europe and they impressed people over there. One man even bought some farms in the US and began raising them I can’t remember his name at the moment, but he actually bought three farms here and shows at the world show in Ava every year now. My 7 year old daughter sat in his golf cart last fall, while I rode in the practice arena.
